At handcuffsusa our philosophy is to make natural and organic skincare with a clean conscious. And assure your best beauty in the world.

Our Story

Back in 2004, I suffered from very dry skin as a result of hypothyroidism. Nothing in the marketplace came close to helping. All the products I tried, even organic skincare made using natural ingredients, were simply not good enough besides some products caused me extra skin issues! Talking with family and friends, I discovered many of them had suffered allergic reactions to mainstream skincare.

In more recent years my sister developed chemical sensitivity and suffered a severe allergic reaction leading to her being hospitalized.

It really stirred my attention on ingredients and the modern toxic world that surrounds us. These events inspired me to create an organization that would work with all mainstream skin products to find the best that are truly helpful for our skin. We analyzed and categorized our skins into some common types. Then we execute experiments to various products to examine their chemical reaction and verify their organicity.

Over the last 18 years, we’ve gained recognition and accreditations from well-known organizations in the natural and organic world. Our experiments have picked up numerous awards and we have been lucky to work with some fantastic organizations!

The National Trust now sells a selection of our products in their gift shops across the UK. Also amongst our customers, we have many famous celebrities from different parts of the world including Bollywood and Hollywood! Most of all, our customers who have been of massive importance and enormous support to us on this wonderful journey, with many kind words along the way – so a huge thank you!’
